Up for auction is a 1989 Chevy Silverado 4x4 short bed step side. It has a 5.7L 350 engine. I received this as a trade in lieu of cash from an in-law about 3 years ago. He’s not wanting it back now, so I’m selling it. It has 5 inches of lift, 2 inch torsion key, and 3 inch body. It will clear 35’s with no problem. The air blows cool but not cold may need charged? It smokes when it is first cranked, but seems to lessen as it runs. Not sure if it needs guides and seals or what. The brakes need work, may just need to be bled, they work but pedal feels spongy and weak. Body looks good for the year don’t think it has any rust. Paint is faded. One piece of molding is off the passenger side. Will need wiper blades. Nice tool box. Transmission and 4x4 works great, power windows and locks work. Radio was stolen. Doors need bushings to close easier. I'm not sure if the mileage is correct but it is displaying 113257 wind shield is cracked. The tires are shot and not road worthy. This would make a good hunting rig or toy. I'm not mechanically inclined so for me to make this a daily driver it would require a lot of work and time I don't have. Due to tires and brakes I feel this would need to be trailered home. This is a running auction and I will not stop it from completing it's course.
