1973 Volkswagen Westfalia Bus - Ready For The Summer This is a original 1973 VW Westfalia Bus 4 cylinder 4 speed. Spent most of it's life in Southern California cruising only the beaches & Pacific Coast Highway. Only owned by a elderly couple who used just in the summer weekends. Barley driven during the winters as it was used for storage. It was well taken care of and always maintained. Pretty much complete and is in very good shape. The undercarriage is clean and is a great example of a California VW. Jambs, doors and trunk are solid. Always was a Orange Westfalia ( Rare ). The canvas is in excellent shape, goes up & down just like it should. The interior compartment is complete. Original sink, Stove & icebox is still inplace. The bottom floor as well as the top is clean. It shows that it is well taken care of. The dash is clean with the original gauges. Runs and drives smooth. Shifts into all gears with reverse. Does not overheat nor smoke. Would make a great driver for the summer & a daily driver anywhere. This is the VW you don't see often, a original elderly couple owned from Los Angeles.
