Vehicle Detail
Hello and welcome to my ebay auction - this is a very unique 1982 Dodge Mirada survivor and I mean survivor. Many list vehicles as a survivor with a repaint, but this sweet little two owner still retains its original paint! Options are as follows - 318 V8, auto trans, factory am/fm radio, cruise control, factory air - I'm sure I'll mention this more than once - EVERYTHING WORKS! ABOUT THE BODY As mentioned it is a real survivor with its factory paint, showing only some touch ups from normal driving over the years, still shines nice with a near perfect roof covering and very nice trim. Again some touch ups and one small drivers door ding. When reviewing the picture notice the inside of the truck floors, THAT'S ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT! ZERO RUST SHOWING! INTERIOR Clean, showing only normal wear very minimal for its age. Door panels have two minor cracks on the top, again super clean and a non smoker with no goofy smells or rattles. DRIVE TRAIN This is one tight driving and running Mirada which has been serviced well over the years. There are no leaks or drips and the engine purrs with no noises, trans shifts perfect and all options including factory air, gauges, cruz control, radio, and all lights work as they should - in other words turn key - drive anywhere! SOME HISTORY I purchase the vehicle from the original owner a couple of years ago just before it was to go threw an ICA auction. The older (very older) couple purchased it new and had obviously kept it well covered. I love survivor vehicles! most of my collection is made up of these types of cars all original and not some patched together bondo mobiles. I also have one of the sweetest 70 camaro's all original for sale. Give me a call on the camaro for more info. ABOUT ME Restoration business for 36 years, a small collection of somewhat rare and unique cars from the 70's and 80's, most are all original. My wife says I'm easy to talk with (thats a plus) and I talk way better than I type - thus this statement- I WILL NOT ANSWER EMIALS! MY PHONE NUMBER IS 920-991-9920 MY NAME IS TIM - THIS AUCTION IS A NO RESERVE SO BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR THIS CLASSIC - I WILL ALSO EXCEPT REAL OFFERS TO END THE AUCTION - BY THE WAY AN OFFER IS WHEN YOU CALL ME AND MAKE AN OFFER - THIS VEHICLE IS FOR SALE! a repairable health issue is to blame for me selling off some of my collection, when did getting something fixed cost so much?? and why?? SHIPPING - MOST OF THE TIME I CAN HELP WITH A VERY GOOD COMPANY, ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. EBAY RULES Most sellers write some ten paragraph thing including all stuff about warranty and boggas statements they know nothing about and try to talk like lawyers, for there info its all listed on ebay's policy - I will just mention how silly they sound! ALL IN ALL! The car is for sale, I will entertain offers to end the auction early, it sure is a unique auto with original most everything including mileage - give me call for any other info I can help with - thanks Tim - 920-991-9920 On Apr-24-10 at 22:33:49 PDT, seller added the following information: an interesting question was phoned into me - being in the restoration business for 36 + years what do I think the collector value will be on this vehicle in the future?? I always think of the super bird - they could not give them away for many years. I'm not a Mopar expert but the Mirada was only in production for three years so I'm guessing this could be something special some day - some other questions - paint is survivor quality with some small everyday touch ups, don't forget they are only factory painted once. The survivor category is the fastest growing collector market - hope my insight helps - thanks!
