PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE YOU BID::: Up for auction is my 1959 ford galaxie fairlane 500. 4 door automatic, Econo six 223 ci engine, 42815 miles, original am radio, dash is not cut up or butchered like a lot of these are, light blue exterior. two tone vinyl & fabric blue interior, all lights work, no broken glasses & all windows work & roll up & down easily, all door panels are in good condition, nice chrome on car, very good white headliner, no rips or tears in headliner, P205/75R14 tires & steel rims, lots of new parts, new rear tailights, new water pump, new voltage regulator, new coil, new alternator belt, recent master cylinder, recent exhaust system, recent radiator, the car runs & drives great, it is not bad for a 51 year old car & would make a great classic daily driver for the summer to cruise around & drive to the car shows, as with any 51 yr old car, it has some minor rust spots in the usual places & I have included a lot of pics showing it. There is minor surface rust on the hood & minor rust spots above both front fenders above the tires & down on the bottom. There is some rust also on the lower quarter panels & the chrome trimming over the pass side rear tire is off but i do have it. There are some rust holes in the trunk that need to be patched up but the trunk can still be used, I looked under the car & the floors look good, I like the car & dont want to get rid of it but as you can see from the pics, i do have a lot of projects & my step son is about to go to college & he needs a good dependable low mileage 4 door automatic car for him to drive while hes away at school. If you are in the NYC tri state area, you are more than welcome to come by & bring your mechanic to look at & start the car. I have all the proper paperwork for the car that is still regestered in my name. I do not have a buy it now price but if you are interested I can add one for you if you want. I have over 190 positive feedbacks & try to describe my items as accurately as possible but i might miss something. If its not stated here, then dont assume it. ask me & i will give you an honest answer. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Other notes:::: I will not sell to third party bidders. If you want the car for your client, then you buy it & sell it to him. I will not cash your check & send you the balance back. Neither the car nor the paperwork will be released till all funds have cleared my bank including postal money orders, bank & certified checks. All shipping costs must be paid by the winning bidder. I will assist by driving the car onto the flatbed of trailer. Some of the parts are the original parts on the car & are over 51 years old so i do not recomend trying to drive it way across country until you have had a mechanic look it over good. I have driven it here around locally & on the highways but never long distances but have never had a problem with it. There are no guarantees or warranties on this or any of the cars that i list here on ebay. If you have less than 10 positive feedbacks then please do not bid on my items unless you first email me with a phone number that i can call you at before you place your bid or i will cancel your bid, block you from all of my future auctions & notify ebay on you. If you do not have the money on hand at the time of the auction, then please do not bid on my items. I expect a 100 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of the auction end.
