Please read entire description. What's Positive: * Car runs great. Starts right up, idles smoothly and has been very reliable * Car gets over 30MPG * Tags are current * Title is clear * Brakes are new * No CA Smog required on these * Front tires are about 80%, back are less but still functional * Recent Service: Had new belts put on, radiator flushed, oil changed, new freeze plug, new thermostat, and pressure test which passed * Interior in really good shape, but driver's seat has a lambskin cover on it because of wear. * Car cruises at 70 easily * Transmission shifts well, no issues * All brakes have been redone (by previous owner) * Glow plugs have been cleaned & car tuned (also by previous owner) * No serious leaks * No burning of fluids (oil or trans) Overall, I'd give the car mechanically a solid grade. It has been a very reliable runner for me. Flaws Worth Mentioning: * The car has some rust issues. My mechanic thinks the car must've been an East Coast car because of that. I tried to photograph the areas on the body that have been treated for rust. They've been repainted after what I believe was a bondo job, not perfect but the car still looks decent. If you are looking for a rust free 240D or a mint condition looking one then this one is not for you. * Odometer stopped just recently. * The steering wheel has a little bit of play in it like many older Benz's. You can hear occasional squeaks & moans when you hit bumps. My mechanic didn't seem to think it was much to worry about but you might want to address that. Personally, I just used this as a commute car. No WarrantyThis car is sold AS IS with no implied warranty of any kind. The car is located in Southern California.
