Up for auction is a 1994 Toyota Paseo. We are the second owners of this vehicle and have owned it since 1996. This was my wife's first car (purchased when she was in high school). I hate to let this car go, however, it is time as we have a baby on the way. It has been a great car for the past 14 years and should have at least another 3 to 6 years left in it. The following is a list of items that you want to take into consideration before bidding: 1. It leaks oil (what 16 years old car doesn't?). 2. Check engine light comes on/goes off (electrical short?). It's been doing this for the last few years and the car still runs fine. We've taken it in to have it looked at, but every time we take it in, the check engine light doesn't come on. 3. Brakes squeal a little. They started doing this after they were replaced and we were told it is because they no longer use asbestos in the brake pads. 4. Wiper fluid container leaks. 5. A/C is a little noisy, but works well/blows cool air. 6. We added a 6 disc CD changer, but the wires have been cut. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to put this back to use. 7. Could use a paint job. 8. This vehicle does not come with the tags. In general, it's in great condition for such an old car. The car has been in two very very very very minor accidents, each at about 5-10 mph. Basically, just a slightly bent fender. No major structural or body damage. These accidents took place about 11 years ago. That's it! May the highest bidder win. This is a no reserve auction.
