Vehicle Detail
Honda Del Sol Si Hardtop Convertible. Rare automatic transmission, recent fluid change and transmission inspection. Car is from Florida and Kansas, and has been located in Hudson, Ohio (near the Ohio Turnpike) for only the last 78 days. The car is titled and licensed in Florida. Features: Convertible with a removeable hardtop that stores in the car's large trunk. Rear window rolls down completely, leaving only a "roll bar" in its place. Automatic transmission recently serviced and inspected by local Honda dealer. Car shifts and runs smoothly. Power steering, power 4-wheel disk brakes, power windows (inclduing the rear window), power mirrors. OEM alloy wheels with new tires, OEM AM-FM cassette radio (recently replaced). Air conditioning works well. Cruise control works well. Recent work completed: New tires, new brake pads, new rotors, new starter and alternator, new spark plugs, new air filter. Car was also inspected by a Honda dealer prior to listing on e-Bay. Body and mechanical issues: There are two small dings in the diriver side rear panel near the gas tank door. There are two 12-14-inch key scratches on the passenger side. The car was re-painted in Florida 5-6 years ago, and shows some minor areas of paint overspray. It has never been in an accident, but was re-painted due to fading in the Florida sun. Even now, the exterior mirrors have faded paint. Additionally, there are a half dozen missing paint chips on the hood. However, as a Florida and Kansas car, there is NO VISIBLE RUST on the body. There is one 3-4 inch tear in the driver's seat. Mechanically, the car is in good condition. However, the Honda dealer says that the car needs an inner tie rod and an outer tie rod (on opposite sides of the car). I have already purchased these parts and will give them to the winning bidder. Reserve: The reserve price is LOW, but if the winning bid is sufficently high enough I will consider delivering the car to the winning bidder within a reasonable distance of Hudson, Ohio at no cost. Summary: My Honda is a 1994 Del Sol Si, and I have owned it for about 4-5 years. I am only the second owner, and although I am not a mechanic, I believe that, to the best of my knowedge, the car is in good condition. It should provide plenty of spring and summer driving fun to its new owner. I also have the original window sticker (sale price $17,200.00), the owners manual, and the original waranty booklet.
