The car sounds and runs great. Meticulously kept. Weight 2460 lbs. Horsepower 325-350 Engine: 350 Chevy V-8, roller rockers, double roller timing chain, 4 bolt main bearings, power pack heads, high volume oil pump, aluminum intake manifold, Holley 4 barrel carburetor, Mallory distributor, chrome headers / side pipes with heat shields, chrome oil and transmission pan, 4 core-16 fin radiator. Transmission: GM Turbo 350, Hurst Pro Matic 2 Ratchet Shifter. 8.5 inch Ford rear with positraction. Chassis / Brakes: Rack & pinion steering, tilt wheel, Coil rear suspension, Anti sway bars, Power brakes,(front disc, rear drum) rear gas shocks. Instrumentation: Great Walnut dash, tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure oil temp, transmission temp, battery amperage, clock, lighter, ash tray. Am-Fm - CD player. Has roll up windows, convertible top, trunk with spare. Car runs excellent, is very reliable, handles incredibly, is extremely quick, and gets good gas mileage (17-19) Engine turns 2000 r.p.m. at 60 mph. The fiberglass body is in near mint condition. There are a few minor cracks around trunk hinges,(hardly noticeable) and a small chip under back fender near wheel, which you have to be under the car to see. On Apr-20-10 at 09:36:03 PDT, seller added the following information:About the build: I didn't build the car, but I purchased it from the builder. He seemed to be really buttoned up - and this was not the first (nor last) kit car which he had done. He (and I) have taken really good care of the car. The kit is from 1991 -- so I believe it was built within a year of that. I also have the build book as well. The car itself runs and reacts great. I just had a check on it a couple of weeks ago and all that it needed was a new battery - which I put in. Everything works on it except I cant seem to adjust the time on the clock. No fluid leaks - I keep the car in my garage and don't see anything on the floor (when I first got it - there was a bad gasket on the oil pan which i took care of). Tire tread looks really good. There is heat/cool in the vehicle - I turn on the heat on days like today -- where its in the 50's but haven't really used it otherwise. Cooling is there as well although never have I used it. The top has a tiny tear in it - less than 1" and its on the bottom. I haven't driven with the top up - except for the day I bought (hence why I haven't fixed that minor detail) There are two blemishes in the body -- under the left tire well - and near the trunk - but both are also minor and I didn't think was worth fixing (you really can only see them if you specifically look for it).On Apr-22-10 at 06:36:35 PDT, seller added the following information:Hi Everyone -- Just wanted to reach out to all those watching, and bidding on the car.
