NO RESERVE 1971 Camaro SS Split Bumper Vintage 80’s Drag Car Cars last drag race was 1987 at the Winter Nationals in Pomona California in the Super Stock Class. Car ran for three years in its class; first in 1985 and then in 86 & 87. The new owner took possession of the car in 87 and was in storage until recently. All steel body except for fiberglass hood All glass is in good shape except for a crack in the lower right windshield Stock front suspension w/disc brakes Rear suspension: Dana 60, Summers Axles, disc brakes, ladder bar, Koni coilovers, wheelie bars Sub-frame connectors Driveshaft safety loop Weld Wheels; Front-5.5X15, Rear-32X14-15 Rim Currently in the car now is a new never raced small block Chevy full roller motor install about five months ago: Crane Cam (have cam card), Crane roller rockers w/stud girdle, GM performance bowtie cylinder heads 202-194, Holley Strip Dominator intake, Weiand electric water pump, Holley carb, Mallory ignition, Hamburger Pan, Holley Fuel system w/Earls lines & fittings. 5 gallon Jaz fuel cell Turbo 400 Transmission with 2500 stall 6 point roll cage Racing bucket seat Simpson 5 point harness Autometer gauges B&M Pro shifter.
