Vehicle Detail

What I have here today is my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. I has been modified heavily. The GT has been a show car for some time and did very well at some National events. Due to some changes in my life the GT no longer has a place in it, I used to show the car at shows and cruises but now I don’t have the time or the desire. The car is in need of some repairs, it did run but has not be started for a couple of years. I have owned the GT for about 10years. I bought it for a TPI 305 swap that was coming out of an S-10. The GT was in wonderful shape and ready to show from the beginning. The original V6 was highly chromed up and looked good. The car was styled in a tasteful Tuner style theme. But was all show and no go! I decided after showing the car for a year it was time to make it as fast as it looked. In the mean time I chose to upgrade some of the components under the front hood by chroming them to be more show worthy. I was going to go through the GT and upgrade most mechanicals, at this time it has had bigger Corvette brake rotors with stainless steel braided lines installed. I was also set up with a 3.4DOHC T3/T4 Turbo V6 with engine management handled by a Haltech E6X unit. Also has a 3” exhaust leading to a Spintec muffler modified for the Fiero. The body has also been modified with vents in the front and rear hoods for better air flow. The rear tail lights are Pisa panels with Corvette lenses. The rear wing stands have been replaced with ones that move the wing location back about 3 inches. The paint is nice but not without some faults. Some of the pictures show the car as it was when I showed it, it now is being sold minus the front spoiler and rear louvers. Some of which will be sold at a later time. The bad news is that the motor has suffered from detonation, it ran when put in storage but the rings have seised up. The motor is in need of a rebuild. The turbo has had a fresh rebuild and is in good shape. I have over 15k invested in the engine swap and engine tuning alone. Hopefully the pictures show the possibilities that this car has if someone willing to put some time and money into it.
