FOR SALE 1985 Ford Club Wagon XL 250 V8Converted to live out of (o yes)-Miles- 177,000-Two wheel drive-10-14 MPG-Trailer Hitch-Cruise Control-AUX iPod hook up to new stereoThe van is in excellent shape, and in perfect running condition. The body of the van is in GREAT shape, very minor rust sports, and no major dents or dings. Inside this beauty is a bed that sleeps one spaciously and two if you like to cuddle. There is a pantry, lots of storage space underneath the lifted bed, and two wood crafted boxes for storage. The windows are tinted and also have curtains over them for privacy. I’ve owned the van for one year and have never had engine trouble, EVER. Its starts on cold mornings, grips on icy roads, and rumbles up the steepest mountain passes. It handles bumpy dirt two track like a champ with a powerful V8 engine, high clearance and doesn’t back down when the going gets rough. I lived out of the van myself for a few months last year quite comfortably skiing, fishing, climbing and mountain biking. It’s currently rigged with a fly rod holder, ski rack, and I’ll even include an alcohol heater ($200), and probably everything else the van could use and I can’t (dishes, pots, pans, grill, ect...) The van has a portable water supply and a pop up sky light with a powered fan for ventilation. There is also a sink that leads to a hole in the floor for a drain that comes in handy. I’ve put about 1,500 miles on the van. When I purchased it in May 2009 the carburetor was rebuilt, belts replaced and new plugs were put in. Since then I’ve had no engine trouble and have kept a close eye on all the fluids in the engine. Minor leaking around gaskets in the engine is as bad as it gets, tires still have tread and brakes are good (confirmed from a auto center). I can guarantee good times are to be had in this van. I'm not the original owner, the previous owner did most of the modifications to make it livable. I bought it from my room mate when our lease was over to have somewhere to move into. Most of what you see in the van will come out, its just used a storage right now. I require full payment at time of purchase. Questions, don't hesitate to ask, peace. Take that cross-country road trip you’ve been waiting for!!!!
