Vehicle Detail
Original 289 2V car upgraded to a 302. Car has automatic transmission, power steering and manual brakes. No air conditioning. All gauges, etc. appear to work properly. I was told car is an older restoration and have a large envelope full of receipts from the prior Georgia owner. It runs and drives well once warmed up. Some hesitation but its been driven very little for the past couple of years. No smoke, knocks or anything unusual. Prior owner said he added a new carburetor and it needed adjusting. Good tires and new battery. Typical areas of rust but mostly surface rust. Trunk looks good. Needs paint. Interior is in great condition with few exceptions. Needs dome light cover and rear deck. Carpet needs cleaning/replaced. Mileage is unknown. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end auction early. Buyer will be responsible for picking up car within 2 weeks of auction end unless special circumstances occur. Regarding my recent negative feedback, I forced the buyer to pick up the car by telling him I was sending it to storage almost 2 months after auction end. He ignored my repeated requests to come and get the car and got mad because it had a flat tire (which I fixed) and a dead battery (I had to jump the car when the carrier finally arrived 58 days after auction end). I tried to explain that these issues were likely caused by the car sitting for an extended period of time in winter weather but he was a complete jackass and accused me of pawning the car off on him. The car was exactly as I stated in my listing when I listed it. The last email I received from him told me that he was leaving negative feedback because I was arrogant and he gave me a chance to apologize for the flat and dead battery but I did not. He left the negative feedback before he received the car.
