Up for auction is a kit for creating a super efficient home built diesel car. When complete, this car can get fuel mileage up to 125 MPG! Everything is included to build this car except the engine to transmission adapter, which can be purchased from a local vendor. I have plans on how to adapt the engine to the Volkswagen transmission in order to make everything work properly. Neither car includes the original gas engine. However, both cars come with good transmissions. Both cars will need to have their floor pans replaced. The fiberglass body is in good condition with no cracks, but will need to be repainted. This would be a super fun project and a way to beat high fuel prices, but I do not have time to finish the project.
