2003 Acura RSX Type S with Comptec Package, Project or Parts Car. Manual Transmisson. This car was my son's car. He got into an accident where a truck tire flew under his front tires on the expressway and he lost steering control spinning off the road and into the Florida roadside bushes. Insurance thought it was not worth fixing but my son wanted to fix and restore the car. Unfortunately, good intentions did not turn into working on restoring the car. I've procrastinated too. It finally time to move it out of the garage. The car has approximately 35,000 miles. It has the factory installed Comptec package which includes an upgraded sport suspension, headers and other stuff. It also has a AEM free flow filter system, Nology wires, Denso Iridium plugs and an almost new high performance ($1,000) clutch. I have the salvage title for the vehicle. The car has not been started in almost a year. The engine and transmission are in good shape. Those two parts alone are worth the starting price. I priced out a manual transmission from Acura and it listed over $4,500. I suspect the car has some suspension damage but I don't know how much. Please note that the wheels and tires shown on the car do not come with it. It does have set of wheels that does go with it. This could make a fun father and son project. Once restored, you'd have a very fun sports coupe to boot. No warranty, return or guarnatee. This is a car has been in an accident and I do not know what all needs to be repaired.
