Up for sale is our adorable factory black Porsche 914 in very original condition and no oil leaks ! Runs and drives exceptionally well, with more power than you would expect especially on the freeway. All photos will be uploaded tomorrow evening when we can enlist the help of a family member ! We have many photos of the inside, outside, engine bay and undercarriage. Still has the passenger’s foot rest, original ceramic shift knob, we have all book original books and records including the maintenance service book, jack and spare, padding under the trunk carpet etc. Reason for sale is a sever motor cycle accident that left me with 2 fractured vertebrae. She starts, idles, runs beautifully hot or cold and does not smoke or make unusual mechanical noises. Runs and drives as it should, good transmission, clutch and brakes. Very powerful engine, rides straight on the freeway, no wheel bearing noises or pulling, and no play in the axles. She just had a full service, oil change, valve adjustment, points, wires, cap and rotor, plug and coil. I think she would drive anywhere as is any distance. In addition to the work just done, We have receipts showing the following recent work : 4 new injectors and seals, Brake Master cylinder, Clutch cable, Rear main seal, Pilot bearing, Complete clutch, Muffler, Pedal box rebuild, She is available for any inspection at our home in Laguna Beach or at ANY REPUTABLE service garage of your choice within a 10 mile radius of our home. As a realistic note, please do remember that she is a 40 year old sports car and is not perfect, also due to her age, there is no warranty of any kind available or offered or implied on this car. She is not perfect and has imperfections here and there. Some or many things, items, fittings, features, mechanically and cosmetically may be worse and many will be better than you may expect ! In line with normal ebay practices please note that all inspections are to be made prior to auction close ! winning the car does not entitle you to come and inspect her to see she is really what you want ! That should be done before you bid ! Prior to auction close multiple inspections by the same person are no problem, you can come back as many times as you like, bring friends, cousins, mechanics, brothers, sisters, neighbor or spouses all welcome !
