2000 VW Jetta GLX2.8l VR65 Speed ManualSilver This car was originally an automatic that I converted over to 5 speed manual and while the transmission was out, many parts were changed including following: - new Sachs clutch kit with flywheel and throw out bearing- new transmission dog bone mount along with engine and main transmission mounts- new shift boot and knob- new timing chain, tensioners and guides- new serpentine belt, tensioner- new water pump- rear main seal- valve cover gasket- oil pan and gasket replaced- spark plugs- cold air intake installed- Audi S4 steering wheel- new front rotors and pads- new MAF sensor- fluids replaced, Liqui Molly synthetic 5w30 engine oil, Valvoline synthetic transmission fluid, dot4 brake and clutch fluid, Prestone coolant- new thermostat and coolant pipe- recently purchased new set of wheels as well: Vision Cross 17x7.5 with 225/45/17 tires (included if you pay the asking price, if price lowered these will not be included with the car- come with stock wheels and tires as well (currently on the car for the winter)- installed new adjustable coilovers and adjusted for about 2" drop- probably forgetting some things but car should be mechanically excellent for a long time- Note that the AC has been deleted on this car What else the car could use:- touch up paint on hood/fix scratches here and there - wire up cruise control, never did it when I did auto to manual swap, don't really use cruise control much Note that this is a used, almost 20 year old vehicle and its not perfect. Passenger side seat power sliding switch needs to be looked at as its not working, drivers side door lock does not automatically lock with the key fob so probably needs to be replaced. All other locks work. I daily drive this car and its ton of fun and if you are a VW fan then you know what the car is all about. Buyer is responsible for pickup. Vehicle is sold as is.
