The original paint has developed an awesome patina, that painters everywhere are trying to replicate these days. The bed is very straight for truck of this age as they were typically used for farm work. Original wood bed has long deteriorated away and a new wood bed kit would be needed. Rails and tailgate are in usable condition depending on look desired for restoration. Minimal rust just surface and a few minor spots as expected for this era of truck but, overall very solid. MECHANICALOriginal V8 283 motor that is good but, needs a tune-up. Motor is all original down to the air cleaner, the fluids were checked and new fluids added as appropriate. New battery installed. The truck is in running driving and stopping condition, but vehicle is not ready for highway travel just basic moving as brakes need servicing and the tires need replacing.
