Up for auction is my 2000 Ford Explorer XLT. I am the second owner and bought it 7 1/2 years ago with 119,645 miles. I have the title in hand. I recently bought a pickup truck and no longer need it. It is equipped with the 5.0 Liter V8, automatic transmission and All Wheel Drive. It has 178,694 miles. It runs good for its year and mileage. Overall the body is in good shape, with very minor scratches here and there, but no dents. There is some rust on the rear bumper, as you can see in the picture. The frame is solid, with some typical surface rust, but nothing major that I see. The tires are in pretty good shape. They were put on brand new at 159,162 miles in November of 2015. It is inspected until February of 2019.The bad:The tachometer does not workThe gear shift lever does not show what gear you are in, but it does shift through all gears perfectlyRecently there has been a rubbing/light grinding noise when turning at low speeds to the left (I haven't had the time to see what is causing it, it is probably a simple fix) Overall, it is solid, dependable vehicle and should have plenty of life left in it.
