1981 Volkswagen Pickup Diesel 1.5 liter diesel, standard manual transmission and front wheel drive. This VW diesel pickup just turned over 100,000 original miles. It drives great; the engine is strong, the transmission shifts good. No rust out strut towers are excellent has original paint and has not been a wreck. I have rebuilt the front suspension with new struts, ball joints, tie rod ends and upper bearings and had a realignment. Timing belt replace less than 500 miles ago. Installed electric fuel pump to prime engine after fuel filter change.Has air conditioning but quit working. Removed compressor and hoses under hood. Have everything to reinstall, goes with pickup . Includes Bentley service manual. Dash is good with one crack see picture, headliner is a bit saggy. I have a the original hub cap for this pickup. Clean title. Original owners manual, original maintenance records booklet, and the original 1 VW key and copies included. Also have the original 1600 engine and goes with the sale. I have had three of these diesel pickups in the last 10 years and I saved this one last as it was always my favorite. Deposit of $500 with in 2 days and paid in full in 7 days.
