Vehicle Detail
This is an amazing project. Original numbers matching frame and engine. The 429 engine is fresh, the C6 is in great condition, the body is straight and rust free, but from a different vehicle, (so has it's own title) therefore you will receive 2 titles, everything (and then some) is there! Many of the parts are new in the wrappers, or refurbished and totally fresh and unused.Tons of extra trim pieces, American Racing wheels, and the seat brackets are set up for Mustang bucket seats (included), waaaay too much to list here, please see the pictures. I would like to sell the whole project, complete, AS-IS. If it doesn't sell this week, I will consider parting it out. You can message me about parts if you wish, but please bid only on the entire project at this time. YES, many of these parts are will fit a 1972 Ford Torino as well! If you plan to "restomod" her and don't want the engine, or trans, or wheels, etc. This can be discussed as well. Please message me. All of the parts are in my 16' enclosed Wells Cargo Car Hauler, and the body/frame are too long to fit inside, so they'll have to be picked up separately. You will be responsible for pick-up of everything from the Escondido, CA area. Please message me with any questions BEFORE you bid. If you would like to discuss delivery, please message me as well. The 429 big block Ranchero GT is very rare, (and the 1972 is a one year only production body style) and the best looking year by far in my opinion. I'm pretty sure the engine alone would easily sell for my reserve price, maybe more, so thank you for looking, and good luck with your bidding! On Dec-18-18 at 15:10:25 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: Dear bidders: Please consider the value of the individual parts and pieces that are included in this project. The fresh 429 engine, the vintage American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels, the hood, the fenders, the bumpers, and everything else that swaps directly to a Torino GT! If you were to buy this project for the reserve bid, and take the time to part it out effectively, you could double, triple your money, or more. It is sitting in a storage facility and must go! If, for whatever reason, this auction does not meet the reserve, which will blow my mind, I will be selling it either complete, or sadly, parting it out locally in Escondido, CA, which is in North County, San Diego. Feel free to message me here for any parts, or to request a price on the total project, if it does not meet it's reserve, or look it up on CL in North San Diego County, at that time. I will be gone for the first two weeks of January, so it's soon, or after the 15th. Up to you, of course. But this is an incredible bargain, especially at the reserve price I'm asking. I doubt one could buy and freshen a nice 429 engine alone for the reserve on the whole project.
