This 1949 Studebaker pickup is in very good condition given its age and considering what pickups like this were used for. The body is very straight and there is very minimal rust. It has been in the dry desert climate of Central Washington. Most of us have a Studebaker story or memory. Seeing these bring those great memories back! But owning one can recreate those great memories! This great old Studebaker pickup has all of its Studebaker decals and the original hood ornament! It was originally a flathead six engine with a three speed transmission and column shifter. A previous owner put either a 259 or 289 V8 in it that is not bolted in and can easily be removed. Also, there is no transmission bolted up to it. I have the original engine and transmission that are still married up together that can be included if desired. Most of the glass is cracked but still intact protecting the cab from the elements. While I have the seat I don't have the seat frame. What a great winter project this will be!
