Up for grabs is this 1968 Ford Mustang J-code 302 4 bbl. This is an original low mileage Mustang. The interior is all original down to the floor mats and in great condition. Factory AC!! Has the console with console shifter. Armrests on the doors could use replaced. Headliner looks great. Shifters a little jiggly but otherwise works fine. The exterior has original Wimbeldon white paint. It is checked and faded in spots. There’s a spot at the left front hood corner that looks to have been repaired at amateur level. Left rear quarter has a pretty soft dent by the turn indicator. Looks easily repaired and it’s not entirely noticeable at most angles. The lower part of the right front fender has a small spot where the paint is flaking and there’s very light bubbling. The vinyl top is original and in superb shape. Overall the exterior appearance represents very well from 20ft but shows it’s age every foot closer from there. Body, trunk, and floor pans are rock solid!! Original quarters. Rust free door corners. Rust free frame boxes. There are no surprises there. Mechanically, it runs, shifts, and drives swimmingly!! Feels rock steady with nary a rattle even. It’s had some things replaced over the years, power brake booster, heater valve, carburetor, etc.. It has the usual old car seepage from valve covers and transmission pan. Tires are older but have been kept in the garage. In summation, this car is a 50+ year old car that could very easily be a daily driver with little work and tires. A very hard to find, totally rust free vehicle that has the capability to show well with some light body work and spot painting.
