Vehicle Detail

Bought in early May 2018 from original owner. Had 58 hrs then and I added 9.5 hrs in three rides since. Selling as I'm convinced it is too powerful for my 64 YO body to handle in the bush - my skill is dropping fast. (Maybe I should stick to dual sport rides and forgo off road.) I bought it after reading a comment that Shercos handle like a Suzuki, and this one certainly does - just like my middle son's RMX yet with better suspension; better handling than my youngest son's late-model WR250F as the battery is lower, underneath the air filter; it doesn't have a top/front-end heavy feel like that Yamaha - very well balanced. Since Sherco is primarily a trials-bike maker, it does very well in the woods and single track yet is surprisingly stable at speed, such that I see no need for a Scotts stabilizer. I put in an EFM autoclutch ($700) and reflashed the ECU ($75) for the ($650) Fresco pipe. Also added EE radadiator guards ($90) and shark fin ($75), BRP Scotts mount ($80+), (hand guards will be removed and replaced with OEM prior to shipping), replaced the OEM skid plate with a Hyde and Obie linkage guard, replaced the clutch-driven disks, silicon hoses, robust KTM footpegs, Talon rim locks/IRC HD tubes/Pirelli MT16s, fork-air bleeders, fresh oil and springs for my 150-155lbs. Comes with a box of new plastics and graphics (factory embedded in shrouds), OEM exhaust and clutch, extra air filter, spare gaskets, OEM handlebar mounts and pad, OEM foot pegs, parts catalog, owners-maintenance manual, oil filters and TwinAir airbox-washing cover (not photographed), new clutch-fiber disks, stock springs (165-180lbs?) and springs for ~190-210lb rider. Since it is fuel injected, there's no rejetting/any adjustments to make or to mess with. And there's a handy-thumb switch to mellow out the power - 5hp others say - to make it more manageable, but it's still a bit much for me - I don't need to get hurt this late in my life, so it is up for sale. Nothing is broke or in need of replacement. The battery is healthy. There are fewer than 10hrs on the tires. It can be street titled as the VIN is favorable for that, and the coil produces over 200w. Delivery can be arranged with compensation for actual to/from fuel cost, which i forecast to be equal to 3rd-party (professional) shipping. Or you can make your own shipping arrangements and I will take it to the depo in Denver. Call or text five seven five six four four three nine zero six for details.
