Here we have a rare old 58 packard . 1958 was the last year for packard and the only built a handful of cars , here is your chance to own one .Before i go to far , this car has NO TITLE , it will be sold with a bill of sale and is for parts only , i do have a copy of the original sales reciept from the original buyer , it has been a one family owned car since new and the title has been lost through out the years . This 58 Packard is just as you see . Its a 4 door sedan , it has options like ps , pb ,radio, dealer installed " Frigiking " ac ... if you wanted ac in your 58 packard it had to be dealer installed. also is equipped with foot pump operated windshield washers and " TT" Twin Traction posi trac rear end . The car somewhere along the lines developed transmission troubles , the engine and tran were removed , i have the engine for the car but the automatic transmission is long gone . Also a pretty cool feature is the factory fiberglass hood . Car has rust , all the tires are flat , and it looks like a catfish but it does have loads of HARD TO FIND PARTS . if you have a 58 packard then you probably need this car just to have spares . The pass side door trim that ou see missing is laying on the front seat , back left tailight also has a hole in the lens. !!!!! AGAIN , NO TITLE , BILL OF SALE ONLY !!!!! must be picked up at my location of Shelbyville IL ,can assist in loading with equipment .will NOT accept paypal on this sale . It is cash in person at time of pickup or certified funds sent ahead of time . Must allow 1 week for check to clear my bank if being picked up . car can set here for a reasonable amount of time until you can make it here to pick it up or arrange transport , however it must be paid in full . car will not leave the property until it is paid in full or funds have cleared my bank .
