1999 Honda CR-V EX 4WD Up for auction is a 1999 Honda CR-V EX. This is vehicle has Honda's Full-Time 4WD, a 5 speed manual transmission as well as power windows, door locks, mirrors and cruise control. This SUV has had significant maintenance over the last several months. Mechanically it is in excellent condition and works 100%. The exterior is consistent with a 19 year old vehicle with assorted scratches, dings and light rust behind the rear wheels (rust and largest ding are shown in photos). The interior is exceptionally clean for a vehicle this age. Everything in the interior works except the dash clock, which is common the first gen CR-Vs. This CR-V will come with an additional set of wheels and tires: Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter Tires on the original EX-style wheels. The actual mileage is just over 126,000 miles; the CarFax shows a discrepancy because of a mileage entered in error. When I replaced the timing belt the Honda dealership confirmed the timing belt had never been changed and felt the mileage as shown by the odometer was consistent with the condition of the belt. All-season radials currently on truck have less than 10,000 miles; Goodyear winter tires that also come with the SUV have less than 6,000 miles. Catalytic converter replaced less than two weeks ago. Timing belt replaced and valves were adjusted about 10,000 miles ago. Currently getting 24.5-25 mpg on regular gas in city driving. What's not as good:Various dings including a large one in the driver's side back door (shown in the picture) Rust behind the back wheels (shown in the pictures)Dash clock doesn't work.Interior Dome light bulb needs replaced. I have put over $2500 into the maintenance of the CR-V in the last 14 months. This little SUV is a reliable, fun vehicle. The 5 speed manual only adds to the fun quotient.
