My family nicknamed it Nairobi, my buddies called it "0-50 by 2PM" which was pretty accurate, lol. I've owned more than 50 Cruisers since then and have great memories revolving around them.These days when I see any 4wd old school "Yota" come through our business I rescue it. This rig was a local trade in, other than having it cleaned I have not fixed anything in order to keep it cheap. I've driven it from New Mexico to Colorado and back, maybe 200+ miles at 65mph to make sure it is mechanically sound. Always starts right up, runs great, shifts and drives very well, no dash lights, gauges read right etc. The engine sounds right, no smoke and is immaculate, really pretty under hood, body is super straight and rust free (see underside photos) Other than needing some TLC and a few repairs, this rig is solid, doesn't appear to have any major issues. This is a 28 yr old 200K+ mile cruiser so please have "real world" expectations. With a new paint job and few things this would be a great townie, cabin rig, hunt, fish, camp etc. Options and Equipment: 4.0L EFI 3FE engine, auto trans, warm AC, non smoking cloth interior, power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, sunroof, rear heat, 45-50% tread matched AT tires on factory alloys, very nice interior, carpet and headliner for its age and a super straight body. This is a used 28 year old 200K SUV and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I'm being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback but please have realistic expectations The paint has heavy age/UV exposure damage from the hot NM sun (see photos) The driver seat has some edge damage, no stereo, a few cracks in the dash as expected but the rest looks great (see photos) Both mirrors are floppy, damaged, windshield is cracked, rear pass side window is plexiglass, the tint is old, bubbles, has scratches on rear passenger tint (see photos) The transfer case, skid plates and underside of the engine is oil covered, a common cruiser issue, hood and hatch struts do not hold (see photos) The previous owner apparently believed tape fixes all? There is tape over the antenna hole, on the steering column cover, speaker cover, etc. The AC blows warm.
