This is my 2003 4.6is Rare Imola/Imola X5. I am the second owner of this vehicle. It had approximately 62,000 miles when I purchased it. The original owner had painted all the black exterior trim red, including the roof rails. He had the OEM BMW overhead rear entertainment system installed. He also added an AC Schnitzer roof spoiler. Everything else about the car was left stock. This vehicle is loaded with every option for 2003, besides the rear loading floor. After I purchased the car, I decided to return the exterior to stock. I also decided to install the mid cycle facelift (LCI) front end from the 4.8is and the updated tail lights. At the same time, I also acquired a set of Euro Market headlights with the clear corners. I also added the Motorsport front fender flares along with the factory aluminum side steps. At the same time, I added the factory tow hitch and factory TCM (Trailer Control Module). For the Interior, I have added the factory heated steering wheel/air bag system from a 2004-06 X5. Also, the factory rear fog lights have been added and are fully functional. A factory Euro Market light switch controls the lights. The current mileage on the vehicle is approximately 190,000 miles. The car DOES NOT RUN AND IS IN NEED OF AN ENGINE REBUILD OR REPLACEMENT. THE CAR WILL NEED TO BE TOWED FROM ITS CURRENT LOCATION (12533) AT THE BUYERS EXPENSE. THERE IS NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON THIS VEHICLE AND IN AS IS CONDITION. PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR DELIVERY. Exterior: The body of the car has various dings, chips and scratches. There are road rash chips on the hood with a sizable ding on the front near the driver’s side kidney grill. Windshield is cracked on the lower driver’s side. It does not obstruct the view of the driver. Some of the wheels have road rash on them. Brake pads and stainless-steel brake lines were recently added from Zeckhausen Performance. The rotors are cross drilled and slotted. Alternator was recently replaced in mid-August after a complete seizure of the previous one. Interior: The leather is in fair to good shape with no rips. The driver’s seat bolster shows more than normal signs of wear but is typical. The rest of the interior is in good shape with various scratches here and there. Carpets are in good shape as well. The car is wired for a radar detector (Uniden or Escort) and a dash cam at the top of the headliner. Neither is included in this auction. With that out of the way, I have a clean title for the car with no liens. Factory owner’s manual and keys will also be included. I also have the factory window sticker. Winning bidder needs to PayPal a $500.00-dollar deposit within 24 hours of auction’s end. Final payment will be for the remaining balance (Within 72 hours of auction end) in the form of a Chase Bank Check. No Exceptions. Vehicle will not be released for shipment until the check clears.
