This Rover does drive and work as it should, except for the items below. If you are looking for a perfect Rover, this is not the Rover you are looking for. The GOOD:- Engine and transmission are mechanically sound/strong.- Paint on the outside of the Rover is good for it's age, please note there are a few scratches.- Windows and sunroof are all in working order.- All new tires, purchased 9/15/2017, odometer at 109,500 miles at the time of replacement.- Alignment is straight.- All brakes are good with more than 50% life on all pads.- Heater/AC units are both working.- No history of accidents.- No visible rust. - Rims are in good condition, a few scuffs, all center caps intact. The BAD:- Cup holder in center console does not stow completely.- Interior has some stains and front seats have some cracks (mainly drivers side - see pictures).- Front headlight and a side marker lamp needs new bulbs.- Drivers + Passenger vanity mirror lights do not turn on.- One speaker from rear tailgate is missing.- 60/40 Rear seat, the 60% side doesn't stow/fold forward completely.- Rear windscreen wiper works, but doesn't spray fluid.- Clicking sound in front dash behind clock upon door open, but stops after about 10 clicks. I had this checked out about a year and a half ago by a private Rover specialist, they told me it might be the AC unit. The Rover Gremlins:- Sometimes the steering wheel adjust works, sometime it doesn't. This is also tied to the drivers seat adjustment, when one doesn't work the other doesn't either. (Currently both are NOT working)- Currently have Air Suspension Inactive/HDC Inactive warnings, I have had these before, you will need to go to a dealer to reset. - Check brake pads warning comes on from time to time, this is due to the front brake pad sensor needs to be replaced. All brakes are good with more than 50% life on all pads. I have tried to explain the current state of this Rover, I may have forgot an item, but pretty sure I have identified every problem. If you have any questions, please contact me. NOTE: This Rover has a Michigan license plate and the tags are valid. That being said, it does have a CLEAN California title, I recently received it and never made it to the DMV to transfer it to a Michigan title. On Oct-08-18 at 11:02:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Rover comes with ONE key fob, the key either needs new battery or recoded at dealer to work. (I have done this recoding before with the same key.) The physical key portion of the fob still locks and unlocks all four doors.
