Super clean A6 with 6 cyl motor, power leather seats, satellite radio, blue tooth phone. Car rides very well. Trans shifts fine. No smoker. 2nd owner. I have babied this car since I got it 3 years ago. Then this happened. The timing gears froze up causing a loud chatter in the motor. The motor did not seize but it would if it is run any longer. Mechanic took valve covers off and some shrouds as well as the timing case cover to see what was wrong. Mechanic said in order to fix this, motor needs to come out of car. That involves taking the entire nose off the car (hood, fenders, etc) so the labor is very expensive to fix. Local pick up only. Body is gorgeous, never in an accident, no rust. This would be a great car to drive again, once the motor work is done.
