This is a 1976 Suzuki GT500 with 18,576 miles. The bike starts, runs, drives, shifts, stops as it should. It makes normal exhaust smoke and has no funny gearbox noises. I believe the crankshaft seals in this one are in good shape. All of the lights, signals, instruments work as does the horn. It has a very nice set of Dunlop tires on it and it has the tool kit. The bike has fair chrome with lots of small pitting on the fenders. The seat obviously has an incorrect cover on it, otherwise in good shape. The fuel tank looks clean inside but has an old epoxy repair on the bottom near the fuel cock. It doesn’t seem to leak anything and appears to be holding up. It has a poor idle and I am certain the carburetors need a good cleaning. Also, at low idle, there is a fair amount of piston slap “clatter” which goes away under load or when revved up, so a fresh top end is probably in order. The bike needs a little work, but it’s all there and would make a good project for the seasoned two stoke enthusiast. It has a clear, signed, open title from the previous owner.
