Please don't call me unles you've already read through it, as I've already answered most questions within the detailed description. I'm happy to talk with you if you've read it already and still need more information. This car starts and runs and drives, but starting it is difficult. You have to prime the engine by pouring a little fuel into the carburetor, then it will start but it won't stay running unless I pat the gas pedal. After it is warmed up it will sit and idol but it will not properly accelerate, sometimes it stalls out. The carburetor is the cause of this. I only drove the car within the property where it's is located because of this, so I can't describe how it drives on the open road. I did however shift through all of the gears and all functioned fine, the clutch is also good. It is running on all 8 cylinders. The engine looks original to me. I did not look up any #s on the engine may or may not be original. The high beam switch sticks sometimes, all lights worked when tested. The car did not over heat when I had it sitting at idol for 20 minutes. The brakes stop the car and felt fine but, keep in mind that I only drove it 1/4 mile tops at maybe 25 mph. The Motor doesn't smoke. The frame has lots of patches as well as the undercarriage floor, trunk, and rockers, I took lots of pictures as always so please look closely at the 99 pictures. In my opinion these patches are at best amature. The metal used on the frame seems thick as it should be but the craftsmanship is lacking. The patchwork is not professional grade work. Please look at the many undercarriage picrures. I don't know what is original or not, nor do I know what is correct or not. You can hear the power top motors running but the seat is stuck and won't move forward or backward. The top also won't unlock. Top lock is stuck shut. There is no power steering. The body is wavy and the paint is low grade amature work. The body is not straight and will need attention. The tires look to be in great shape. The drivers door sags. Body panel alignment is poor. The top has several small tears that have been previously repaired, see pictures. The chrome is mostly nice. The car has rear air shocks. The engine oil is clean and full. Before using this car I recommend having it gone over by a technician to make sure that it is road worthy. If you decide to drive it home instead of shipping it that is fine, but all risk is yours including but not limited to safety, and or reliability. I personally would not drive this car any distance until I had it serviced, fixed, and gone over. I have described everything that I noticed while going over it. I'm sure there are some small things that I could have missed. This car is being sold as is where it is with all faults, past, present, and future. The vehicle is located on a farm in a garage near the Hartford county and Baltimore county line in Maryland zip code 21087. This car Is titled in my company name as shown on the actual title pictured. The car will be sold as is and as "not actual mileage" because I'm not sure that the odometer functions. All proceeds will be transferred to the family of my late great friend and investor who holds financial interest in this vehicle and many other classic and collectible cars. If you decide to ship your car we will require all payments to be cleared before the vehicle is released and all of the paperwork must be completed 100% before the vehicle is released. We usually don't get much involved in shipping as we have no control of private shipping company’s behavior, timeliness, and communication. we can make sure that the car gets onto the truck, once its on the truck all liability shifts to you and the shipping company.
