Solid Daily Driver! I got this beetle a little over a year ago and had the repairs done in order to make it dependable: timing belt, brakes, fuel pump and filter, spark plugs and wires, wiring harness, coolant temp sensors, hoses, etc.I have been driving daily it since, and gets good mileage (in town and highway). This is a safe, dependable and comfortable car. My next project was to overhaul the interior, but now I no longer need a second car. The seats are stained, but the car does not have any odor (I am a non-smoker). There are some dents in the running boards, but the paint is good and there are no other dents. I had the A/C mostly rebuilt (new compressor, new evaporator, Cabin air filter, etc ) last summer. However it is blowing warm again. My mechanic advises that there is a faulty wire to the compressor. 2. Driver side window track. The window struggles to go up and down. The regulator was replaced last summer. my mechanic advised there must be an issue with the track 3. The seats are stained, but the car does not have any odor (I am a non-smoker). The headliner is sagging. 4. Crack in the lower front grille on the driver side. (will upload a photo on request)
