1957 ford fairlane 500 -- mechanically this car is in great condition -- the 390 engine runs and starts perfect -- there are no leaks coming from under this car anywhere -- the top-load 4 speed is a great set-up and a pleasure to drive -- whoever installed this engine and tranny did a professional job -- it seems to me that when buying a 61 yr old car the mechanical and electrical would be the most important items to look for -- this car is tops in both departments -- headlights & tail lights incl both turn signals front and rear work --dash lights & dimmer work at night -- the radio plays good -- the heater & hi-lo fan works -- the wipers work -- the cigarette lighter works -- speedometer works -- gas gauge - oil pressure - amps - all work --the bucket seat slider adjusters both driver & passenger work very easy --tires are like new -- the paint job is driver quality -- not perfect but very nicethe horn and the emergency brake do not workthe windshield has wiper marks ( not bad )the chrome and stainless is also driver quality ( please look at the pictures )the interior is not original and is in average condition ( please look at the pictures )at sometime in the past this car had some rust issues in the floor pans and were repaired --the underside of the car has been detailed as you will see in the pictures -- i suggest to anybody that they look the pictures over very closely before bidding on this vehicle -- i have a clear Nevada title -- the mileage given is what odometer reads ?? if for some reason you need more information regarding this car you can call me at 702-401-3344 -- i expect a 500.00 pay-pal deposit immediately at auctions end -- IF YOU CAN NOT DO THIS THEN DON'T BID if anyone would like to offer me a fair price please call me and i will add a buy-it-now to this auction the winning bidder can take all the time needed to pick-up the car -- i have a gated storage place to store the vehicle - i do know that sometimes a shipper can be difficult to acquire so relax and get the best price possible --
