Vehicle Detail
This is a very solid Arizona desert car, sold new in Bisbee, AZ. It has surface rust from 300 + days of sunshine each year and the only cancerous rust is in the rear quarter panels behind the wheel wells. It is an original 318 V8 car but now has a .040 over (408 cu. in.) 400 big block that has recently been rebuilt. The transmission is a 727 that has also been rebuilt. It has a 8.75 rear end with a 3.23 gear ratio. It needs front brake calipers but the rear brakes are operational and should not be a problem loading it on a trailer. I ran out of money and did not finish the front brakes. It also needs a complete exhaust system with the exception of the stock cast iron manifolds. It also needs a voltage regulator. This is not a Barracuda but I was unable to remove that from the listing. It has a new radiator. Performance Radiator in Tucson installed a new core and bottom tank but they could not find an automatic transmission heat exchanger so it also needs a transmission cooler. The cooling lines are in place and are hooked together. I just replaced the carburetor with a brand new Holley 4160 and the engine runs really well. The engine has a Crane Cam with 224/234 degrees duration @ .050 and .466/.488" lift on a 114 degree LSA. On Jul-28-18 at 06:50:36 PDT, seller added the following information: New Moog upper and lower ball joints along with new Moog offset upper control arm bushings have been installed. There are also new Moog lower control arm bushings which have not been installed and the K Member has an OEM sway bar.
