This is a very solid Arizona desert car, sold new in Bisbee, AZ. It has surface rust from 300 + days of sunshine each year and the only cancerous rust is in the rear quarter panels behind the wheel wells. It is an original 318 V8 car but now has a .040 over (408 cu. in.) 400 big block that has recently been rebuilt. The transmission is a 727 that has also been rebuilt. It has a 8.75 rear end with a 3.23 gear ratio. It needs front brake calipers and a complete exhaust system with the exception of the stock cast iron manifolds. It also needs a voltage regulator. This is not a Barracuda but I was unable to remove that from the listing.On Jul-28-18 at 06:50:36 PDT, seller added the following information: New Moog upper and lower ball joints along with new Moog offset upper control arm bushings have been installed. There are also new Moog lower control arm bushings which have not been installed. I borrowed a brand new Demon from my brother and the engine ran well at idle and throughout the RPM range. Unfortunately, I had to return his carburetor this morning.
