1968 AMC AMX. The car has remained in storage since the late 1970’s. Before going into storage the car was repainted. The “red shag carpet” was removed for inspection. AMX #02033 (Dash Plaque) 72A - Frost white 835A - Red interior w/ ventilear vinyl reclining seats N - 290 V8 4V engine although a stock appearing 2V carburetor is currently on the motor M - 4spd manual E089474 - Kenosha East plant Manual steering & manual drum brakes 66,813 miles The AMX is rust free with the exception of a spot in the floor behind the driver’s seat (see pic) The body panels all appear to be rust and collision damage free. The quarter panels appear to be original and undamaged although I cannot confirm the originality of the lower quarters. I purchased this AMX from the same female owner since 1976. This AMX does not run or drive. The motor turns but has not started since the late 1970’s. Included with the sale is the chrome trim for the hood and front fender extensions, the spare tire, jack, wrench, and inflation canister with wire holder.
