1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe 2 door Coupe. Original motor and transmission were taken out and replaced with a 4-cylinder motor and a 5-speed transmission. Mileage on motor unknown. Car body is very solid. No dents, dings, or rust. Interior has been upgraded to bucket seats up front with console and bench seat in back. Headliner and kick panels all new. Chrome and glass all in good condition. Motor starts right up but runs rough, need a good tune-up. Tires are all like new. Spare tire is brand new. Brakes are OK. All gauge’s work, radio doesn’t work. All lights and turn signals work. The hood does not close properly. Title on car is clear. I have a very low reserve. This 1948 Plymouth is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. The motor is out of a 1971 Ford Courier. It is a 4 cylinder 2300 series. You can get parts from 71 to 76. Car seems to cope very well with the motor. Does not leak or smoke. When hood is closed there is a 1/2 inch gap on the driver side. Needs adjusted.
