Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1986 Chevrolet C30 CrewCab Shortbed with a LS engine. This is a true 1 ton truck that has had several upgrades and modifications completed. The frame has been shortened & a true 6 ½ ft bed installed, the fuel tank was relocated to the rear, the front dropped with coil springs & spindles, rear dropped with lowering springs. It has an custom Black/Silver 2 tone paint and bed is coated in a rubberized bed liner. There is NO RUST on the truck as the truck was brought to the East Coast from California. The paint is a little older with a couple scratches/chips here and there but nothing horrible. The worse thing is the silver on the roof starting to fade. The 454 has been swapped out with a GM LS 327CID (327 HP / 347 Ft Lbs.) 5.3L HO Crate Engine with the TH400 and Full Floating 14bolt still installed. All items on the engine are new, to include: MSD 6LS controller, KRC Power Steering pump, Alternator, Holley carb, air cleaner and power steering/hydro boost beak lines. The interior was redone with 4 captain’s chairs, new headliner, new carpet, black leather wrapped dash, and custom door panels. It has full electric windows and door locks. The A/C is all there except is missing the compressor after the engine upgrade. Truck is also posted locally for sale, so auction may be ended sooner More Info on the engine: The LS327 is now offered in deluxe form that includes everything from the carburetor intake to the ignition coils, coil brackets, shields, plug wires, gaskets and installation hardware. The manifold is GMPP's aluminum, spider-type intake (88958675) that's optimized for the LS327's cathedral-port heads. The base engine - the tough, proven, and dependable 5.3L engine. It's the same long-lived production engine that you'll find in our award winning full-sized truck and SUV line. The stock 5.3 offers a dependable 295 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft of torque from the 96mm bore by 92mm stroke engine design. What makes this 5.3 High Output crate engine so special is that our engineers added a GM Performance Parts custom cam and Grafal-coated pistons. With these simple upgrades, the 5.3 HO kicks out 327 horsepower and 347 lb.-ft of torque. And, just like the stock 5.3, the 5.3 HO is capable of thousands of miles of dependable service while returning outstanding fuel mileage, thanks to the superior design of the LS Family of engines.
