1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ being sold AS IS with NO RESERVE. This would make a good off road or hunting vehicle project. The vehicle is only in fair condition with some body damage mostly in front and some rust in the lower rear. The engine has good oil pressure and does not smoke or knock and transmission shifts good without slippage and transfer case works fine. The engine runs rough and I believe it is probably an issue with the fuel injection possibly a bad sensor but it could be low fuel pressure or an ignition problem. I did replace the crank position sensor but that didn’t fix it. It also had a full brake job including master cylinder new calipers new shoes and new wheel cylinders. The front end damage is mainly cosmetic and I do have another outer fender for the right front which is included. The other front end parts like park light housings etc are cheap even new and are widely available in junkyards so it wouldn’t take much to repair. The headlight area needs some attention as the damage has loosened the headlight assemblies. Part of the exhaust system is rusty so it may need a new muffler and some of the pipe replaced. The windshield is cracked but it doesn’t interfere with seeing out much. It has about 2 inches of lift using v8 grand Cherokee coils in front and an add a leaf and shackles in the rear. Fenders have been trimmed front and rear. Tires are slightly larger than stock on fake bead lock wheels and have 30 to 40 percent tread apprximately This is a project vehicle and although it can be driven after pumping up a tire that is leaked down I would recommend bringing a trailer. Don’t buy this unless you like working on a vehicle. Body and interior are rough with headliner missing and back seat loose stained seats dirty carpet etc. I am sure there are numerous other minor flaws but for someone who wants to make a project this would be a great starting point This would also be a good donor vehicle if you need an engine or complete drivetrain for another Cherokee or Jeep that uses the 4.0 engine Local pickup only!
