Vehicle Detail

After I posted this eBay listing, I came to the conclusion that many potential eBay buyers were not familiar with what Rebuilt Salvage Title vehicles are. So, therefore, I will try to help clear any potential buyer confusions in which can be verified at any local Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) or Auto Insurance office. What is a Rebuilt Salvage Title vehicle? A rebuilt salvage titled vehicle is a vehicle in which the insurance company decided not to repair regardless of the extent of the damage and paid off the vehicle to the insured in which is also known as the owner of the vehicle. Also, when insurance companies recover stolen vehicles, they have to declare them as a total loss if they have already paid off the owners of stolen recovered vehicles. Regardless if the vehicles have a single dent or scratch on them or not when they are recovered. In my vehicle's case: My vehicle has never been involved in an accident. I bought the vehicle brand new from a dealer with only 16-miles on the odometer. My vehicle was in possession of the original/new auto dealer when it was involved in minor freshwater intrusion damage to the interior's carpet. The dealer’s insurance company declared the vehicle a total loss and paid off the vehicle to the new auto dealer. The water intrusion was very minor and the vehicle shouldn’t have been declared a salvage vehicle. However, some insurance companies don’t make sense when they handle claims. Also, a new auto dealer can't just simply replace a new vehicle's carpet and offer it for sale as a new vehicle. Or even replace the new vehicle's carpet and offer it for sale as a used vehicle because it had never been titled prior to the freshwater intrusion damage. It was hard for me to believe that the vehicle had any sort of freshwater intrusion damage because the vehicle was in like new conditions when I first saw it. The whole vehicle's interior carpet was replaced with a Nissan Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) carpet after the insurance company declared the vehicle a total loss. I have the paid invoice for the new carpet available for review. Also, the OEM carpet is one-piece with sound and heat insulation glued to the bottom. I observed how the carpet was replaced and didn't see any electrical wiring or electrical components on the floor pan in which could have been damaged by the freshwater intrusion. The vehicle's floor pan diagram is available online. With all the above statements being said. Just because a vehicle has a Rebuilt Title it doesn't mean that is in worst or better shape than a vehicle without such title. In fact, many vehicles with non-rebuilt titles have been in minor and serious accidents. However, some drivers involved in the accidents fail to file an accident report with their local authorities. They also fail to file a claim with their insurance company so that their insurance premium doesn't increase and in order to maintain a clean title in which is illegal. Then here comes Joe Blow and pulls a clean history report on a crashed vehicle and thinks he got a heck of a deal because he low balled the owner for a so-called never in an accident super vehicle deal. Now, I sincerely hope that I have not bored you "serious" and "potential buyers" to almost death by now. And hopefully, a lucky buyer will get to own a vehicle in outstanding conditions soon. But to those of you eBay buyers that are under the impression that eBay Motors is a wholesale auto auction and expect to pay same prices as the auctions that licensed auto dealers participate in and buy at wholesale prices. I highly suggest for you all to wake up and smell the coffee and stop making wholesale price offers. My vehicle's MSRP was $40,745. And just because it had a rebuilt title it doesn't mean that I almost bought it for pennies on the dollar. Be an educated buyer and use used cars buying guides in which will assist you in determining a vehicle's estimated value even if it has a rebuilt title. That being said, I don't have time for all you lowball knuckleheads. eBay messages from previous lowballers will be ignored. And you all know who you are. Back to business: Deposit of $500 will be accepted through PayPal once a selling price is agreed on. I'm not in the business of keeping deposits made by buyers in which can't even afford to pay for a pay phone call. So please do not submit a deposit for the vehicle unless you have been PRE-APPROVED by your bank/credit union for auto financing if needed. Final payment only accepted wire transferred from buyer's bank to seller's bank. Or cash payment deposited into an escrowed bank account. Do you want peace of mind? www.wegolook.com conducts onsite vehicle inspections. Their inspection fee will be reimbursed immediately via PayPal if my vehicle inspection fails. The seller can take the vehicle to any local bank for inspection. Also, potential buyers may arrange an inspection at any local mechanic shop like Goodyear, Firestone, and Midas just to name a few local shops. If their inspection fails, I will pay for it. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) when New: $40,745, Including Options Included by Manufacturer like the Midnight Edition Package of $1,195.00. Manufacturer’s window sticker part of the photos. Standard Equipment Only on SR Models with the Midnight Edition Package: Paddle shifters, Integrated Dynamics-control Module - Active Ride Control, Intelligent Trace Control, Intelligent Engine Brake, Sport-tuned suspension – retuned dampers, stiffer springs and larger front stabilizer bar (26.2 mm), Exclusive Midnight Edition™ black 19" x 8.5" alloy wheels, P245/40R19 W-rated all-season tires, Black Rear Diffuser and Black Sport Spoiler. Features: All the standard features are listed on the original window sticker in which is one of the photos posted on the ad. The vehicle also comes with all-weather OEM rubber floor mats. Like Bose HD stereo? Navigation system? Well, it is standard. The vehicle is in like new/excellent conditions and has been garage kept since I bought it. Also, I don't smoke any tobacco products or use vaping devices or will allow any passenger to do so inside the vehicle. I appraised the vehicle using Kelley Blue Book and priced the vehicle at “FAIR” conditions due to the rebuilt title. FYI: KBB doesn't have the option to appraise the Midnight Edition package or most options included by manufacturer. This vehicle was bought for my son for him to drive with his learner's permit. However, my auto insurance company wanted multiple arms and legs for the coverage. In other words, it was too expensive. So, therefore, I will drive the vehicle until I sell it. WARNING! Please consult with your insurance carrier prior to adding a Maxima to your auto insurance policy. Insurance quote part of the photos. A seller of a new or used vehicle commits a Federal crime if it misrepresents a previous and/or a current condition of a vehicle offered for sale. Please, any questions, feel free to ask. I’m here to assist any potential serious buyer in any way I can. Again, SERIOUS buyer. Last: I'm not in the auto show or test drive business. So, therefore, in order to preserve the quality of the vehicle, I don't let knuckleheads go on test rides. Another FYI: Many car rental companies rent Maxima vehicles and will allow test rides. Waste their time. Mine is extremely precious.
