1972 El Camino SS (REAL SS) Not a Clone. Car is original, No modifications and 100% complete, including jack. Vin. # 1D8OU2L536887 I have realized after storing this car for four years that I will not be getting to it anytime soon. I am offering it for a very low starting price. This car needs BODY only rust repair work. There is No frame or structural rust present. Floors are in good condition, small area in smugglers box in need of address. Roof was subject to rot from a leaky Naugahyde roof cover. There are also patches needed behind rear wheel wells. There are several other areas needing attention, but are very, very minor. Tilt steering column may need rebuild or replace. Car runs very well (Motor is a non-number matching rebuilt 350 ci. 4bbl carb) vin. states original motor to have been a 400 ci. A/C system is rebuilt. Has Automatic transmission. Carpet, Headliner and one door panel removed (Interior in need of a replacement kit) Has original bench seat. Car RUNS, DRIVES, MOVES and BRAKES very well on its own. I have a video of motor running for those interested. As previously stated, this is a candidate for body, interior repair, with only light mechanical work needed.....not in mandatory need of "full restoration". Car comes with new roof panel, hood hinges/springs, door hinge, rt. front fender, short headers and misc parts. Car also comes with two complete doors for install or patch panel material.
