Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a beautifully restored 1967 Honda CB160. The bike has 6180 actual miles and numbers-matching engine and frame. Please click this link for a video walk-around and a chance to hear the bike run. The bike you see is the result of a 3-month complete frame-up restoration. The bike was taken completely apart (engine top-end only.) Steel parts were sand-blasted. Aluminium parts were vapor-blasted. Any/all damage was repaired (cracks welded, dents pounded out and bodyworked, etc.) The bike was given a beautiful Urethane Basecoat/Clearcoat paint job usingtop-of-line House of Kolor Euro Red and Orion Silver. Only original-style bolts were used (no Allen-head) All electrics work perfectly:headlight high and low beamhigh beam indicatorgauge night-time running lightstail light / stop lightneutral indicator lightelectric starterOther Work DoneFront forks were complete disassembled, cleaned, and re-assembled with new fork sealsNew seat cover with correct "Honda" name on the backBike starts easily on first kick or a momentary press of the starter button. There are a few minor blemishes as one might expect on a 51-year-old bike such as some minor, barely noticeable pitting on some of the chrome. The last ~1-foot of the original mufflers were completely rotted out which exceeded my metal-fab and welding abilities to repair. As a result I chose to use Emgo Dunstall-style mufflers. I have the original mufflers and can include them in the sale if you areinterested. Bike needs nothing and is ready to ride (check out the video to see/hear it run) The bike is sold as-is where-is with no warranty. A Paypal deposit of $750 is required immediately on purchase. The balance is due in certified funds (cash, bank-check.) The motorcycle will not be released until full payment has been verified. The bike will be sold with a Florida bill-of-sale and a signed-over registration in-my-name from the state of Vermont which provides necessary proof that I am the owner of the motorcycle and have the right to sell it. The Vermont registration form works just like a title. I will not crate or ship, but will work with your shipper to make the bike available for pick up upon verified receipt of full payment.
