Vehicle Detail
The last motorcycle in my collection, this 1977 Honda CB750K7 has been in my wife's family since new. Purchased originally in Vallejo, California, it belonged to my late brother-in-law, who passed in 1991. The bike has been in my possession since that time. Always garaged and meticulously maintained, it remains in stock configuration with some recent updates.within the past few years, including a new UK-made 4 into 4 exhaust system from David Silver Spares (beautifully engineered and chromed and no bluing), a professionally reupholstered saddle on the original pan, and a set of Durotour tires with less than 200 miles of use. Additionally, the bike was treated in 2016 to full tank and side cover paintwork in 1977 Honda Candy Alpha Red base coat/clear coat with correct tank striping. The original single strut front fender was upgraded to a dual strut Honda OEM front fender as those that appeared on some European -spec K7's in 1977. Both front and rear rims are in beautiful rust-free condition, as are the spokes. All original chrome overall, including headlamp bezel, both mirror stalks, and rear fender is in outstanding condition. Engine has never been opened, all castings are nice, and all fins are perfect. Dealer installed factory engine guards. Bike has been run on Castrol oils since new. A new OEM clutch was installed in 2014, and it runs, shifts and stops as it should. Original Koito and Stanley headlight and taillight lenses are still present. Bike really shows beautifully, and as you would expect, draws a crowd of bike enthusiasts wherever she's ridden. On the negative side, there are two blemishes that are disclosed in the last two photos - one being a scrape on the left instrument bezel and the other a slight ding/scratch on the lower edge of the right side of the tank. Neither terribly noticeable, but there. Also, Neutral and Oil Pressure lamps are both inoperative, and I have never attempted to repair. I did install an oil pressure gauge (also shown) and strongly recommend its use. If one wished to remove it, it is a 10 second job, and the original aluminum hex plug will be included with the bike. All other electrics and switchgear are as they left the factory, operating properly, including directionals, with tach and speedometer both functioning smoothly. Original owners manual is included and pictured. I am sure I've missed something, so please email me with any questions or requests for additional photos and I will be happy to oblige. Currently inspected and registered, with a clear Texas title in my name. There is a reserve, but I believe it is very realistic for a K7 of this quality, so bid enthusiastically. I am happy to assist the winning bidder in working with his/her shipper, but I cannot crate the bike. Thanks for looking at my auction, and good luck bidding! On Jun-29-18 at 14:29:17 PDT, seller added the following information:
