Up for auction is this one owner Pontiac GTO. Purchased at Martenson Motors in Durango, CO, the car is probably one of the most original GTO's our there. Full documentation, build sheet, dealer paperwork and receipts for last 49 years. The car sat for the past 10 years, and needed a minor freshing up to be a running/driving car, which it now is. New fuel tank, sender, pump. Original carb needs a rebuild, but is included. Car has a new Edelbrock 600 that needs jetted for altitude of the buyer is in the Rocky Mountain region. The body was taken down to virtually bare metal, the paint was faded and oxidized. Repaint in original Liberty Blue, but needs buffer and touched up to be show quality. The motor has never been out of the car. I was unable to find the VIN, but casting is correct and owner stated its as he bought it from the dealer. Trans is T400 auto, shifts great through all the gears. Car has factory A/C that still works (needs a recharge eventually). I put the tires with Torq Thrust rims on, the original wheels and hubcaps are included if you want them. As stated, the car runs/drives....you could probably drive it home, but it does still need the points and plug wires replaced (I have both). Interior is original. Original floor mats are in the trunk. This is a car that still needs some TLC, but how many 1 owner cars are left?
