1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser . White FJ40,frame off restoration started. No shortcuts,no rust.I estimate 85% completed.Health has taken a downturn,had to retire,thought I would finish now I realize I will not.All work work,parts etc have been as good or better than factory specs.Not running,needs ignition finished.Engine has not been cranked only turned over.Total engine overhaul, New: weber carb,power steering pump,Brake booster/Master cyl New header,new clutch/pressure plate,new clutch master cyl Trans: new seals,gear oilRear axle:new bearings,seals,gear oilFront axle:new seals,knuckles rebuilt,new gear oil,front end has all new parts.4 wheel disc brakes.SS brake and clutch lines.new springs front and rear,greasable shackles. New shocks all around,new steering damplerVintage air/heat unit installedTIRES: BFG 33x10.50x15 on new wheelsBody Tub: sandblasted and primed bottom and top floor has been covered with liner extremeAny rust was cut out and replaced.new quarters installed. Painted in 040 Toyota white, original Color per numbers.New body mounts,Frame was sandblasted and coated with KBS chassis coater.(Similar to por15)Stainless Steel bolts have been used in this rebuild almost exclusively!!!!!!!!!Gas tank has been cleaned and resealed,new sending unit.Driver door installed with power window have passenger door needs bottom panel installed(have)Dash pad has been replaced with Lockable box/trayAmbulance doors need stripped/paintedHardtop: 2 tops right and left sides need stripped/painted Windshield frame has been painted, needs glass,have original sealSeats needs new coversNO BACK SEATS ,NO REAR HEATER, NO CONSOLEHoods; I have 2 hoods 1969 and 1977 hood -need stripped/repaired/paintedMany new parts on hand,lots of used parts most all bagged and tagged.I have most all to finish.
