This is the low production, single carb. Competition bike. Intended for US market. Not many of these "Desert Sleds" around anymore. Factory stainless fenders, small tear drop gas tank, small headlight and folding foot pegs.This classic, matching numbers bike is in excellent condition and has been daily transportation up till my recent retirement. Brand new factory correct Dunlop K70 tires, rebuilt cylinder head by Baxter Cycle, very recent ignition tune-up. Bike is mostly original paint with some expected paint rubs and chips. Newer gas, oil and tool box paint and stripe. Gas tank has small inconspicuous paint chip repair near seat front (too small for photo). Stainless front fender has a few small ripples on back (see photo). Rear fender under seat has some inexplicable damage at turn signal holes (see photo). Original import turn signals have been removed many years ago. No rips or blemishes on original seat. Beautiful chrome rims. All lights and horn work properly. Bike has an added tach. that has not been hooked-up. Always a dry Colorado bike. This is a rare and one of the last and most advanced true classic Triumphs, built just before the oil-in-frame models. Easy one kick start. This bike looks,rides and shows extremely well. Clear Colorado title. Actual mileage unknown. I have bike advertised locally and reserve the right to end auction early if sold here. Buyer makes and pays for all shipping arrangements. I will drain fuel and meet shipper on my driveway.
