This Honda Accord has been in the family (first in NW Arkansas and now in SE TN) its entire existence and has been a very dependable car. It's never been wrecked. Timing belt recently changed, "lifetime" brakes installed as well. AC is cold, and heat is hot, as are heated leather seats, and tires are good. All windows, 6-CD player and moonroof work. Automatic door locks do NOT work, and you must lock manually. Many of the miles are highway miles from Chattanooga to Dayton. Blemishes? 1) Manufacturer's paint faded on hood. 2) Very slight dent on passenger side (see pic) from driveway mishap. 3) Leather front seats are in bad shape (see pic). 4) Just this week, the chip in the windshield turned into a 14-inch crack. 5) April 2017, I thought the transmission was going out because it came out of gear (into neutral) going down the road several times. I took it to the local transmission shop. They kept it for several weeks and could find nothing wrong with it. They suggested I take it to an electronics shop. They could find nothing wrong with it either. The fellow there suggested changing the transmission fluid. We changed it. In the last 14 months, it has come out of gear three times. I pull over, put it in park, and drive on. If I was going to keep it, I'd probably get the transmission fluid flushed, and not just changed.Why am I selling? I've got 5 cars in the family fleet, and am looking to reduce that by one, as I've got one driver headed to college, and I'm not going to pay more for a college parking permit than the car is worth!
