Vehicle Detail
This is a 1965 Ford Ranchero that is Ford Jalapeno Red. The car originally came from Idaho. The engine is a 200 cube 6-cylinder automatic transmission. The date the car was born is December 11, 1964. The car has aluminum mag wheels, and brand new: carpeting, headliner, door panels, arm rests, interior handles, outside rearview mirrors, exterior door handles, and all new keyed alike door locks and ignition cylinder with factory keys, wipers, antenna, inside rear-view mirror. parking brake cable, and lots of new rubber parts – glove box, tail gate rubber, lug nuts and the car has radial tires. New seat belts were added, turn signal switch and turn lever, heater control cables and the heater core was replaced, new hoses, gas petal and brake petal pads, new polyurethane strut rod bushings, rear spring shackles, rear shocks, rear speakers, front speakers, custom radio that looks original but has a plug for your iPod, cellphone electronics. New gaskets and rubber seals for taillights, door jamb light switches, interior dome light, front shock rubber mounts, new steering column bushings, dash board knobs, and all the tires were computer balanced. The list goes on with many, many new or replaced items, too many to list. There is also a new steering wheel. All the lighting works – headlights, directional, brake lights etc. The doors have all new door gaskets, all the glass is good. The gas tank has been removed and cleaned and a new gas tank filler hose was added. The car has been fully serviced. This is not a show car. It is a fun entry level car or weekend ride. It is fast to start, always gets attention. The driver’s door is missing a piece of chrome trim, and the driver’s door and front fender have primer and can use some paint. The floor seems very solid. Rear quarter panels look like they had some body rust that has been patched. The exhaust system is solid but it is not the original type. The car has the same drive train as a Falcon or Ford Mustang of the same era. The car does not have power brakes or power steering but it doesn’t seem to matter, it does both well. It has an exceptionally solid steel pickup bed and tailgate. Odometer says 31,000, the title from Idaho says 87,423. Vermont is a non-title state so we can supply you with a bill of sale plus the original title. Any questions feel free to ask. Sold As is Where is. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs. Revision done to correct mileage. Had added one to many 7's originally
