This is a 1947 Dodge 1 1/2 ton flatbed truck that was sitting in a field for 20 years grandpa drove it right up to the time he parked it. motor was just rebuilt before parking it. A tree fell on it smashed the cab but all repairable spoke to body shop they told me definitely fixable. Windshield is cracked, side windows broke by vandals. We pushed it and got it to start but carb leaked everywhere so removed carb rebuild it. Push started it again and it runs but has an oil leak from the oil filter to the block.. So just a hose needs repaired. Put in a new battery 6 volt. but will need some rewiring done and plug wires and plugs changed remember it has been sitting for over 20 years. Fuel tank needs cleaned out and maintance done on it before it is driven on the road, a trailer whatever. the bed will have to have the boards replaced ect. its a project guys not a new 1947 truck. Cool old truck have title in hand was issued in 47 so 1 owner oil in motor still looks like new. READ ALL OF THE DECRIPTION before bidding tired of bidders that don't pay for something they buy when they realize it is a new vehicle for a few thousand dollars..This is the 3rd time Ive had to list this truck to sell it because either the buyer didn't realize he couldn't drive it home or didn't check on shipping..
