note: This bike has been listed on eBay before, but certain issues have been addressed and the price has been reduced. Honda Helix from 1986. Now a RARE find. THE POSITIVES: 1) The bike starts and runs. When it is running, it generally runs well. 2) We have had over $1000 of parts and labor and have all of the paperwork. 3) It has a lot of cool stickers. THE NEGATIVES: 1)There are times when the bike has a challenge starting. It's not the starter or battery as both of those appear to be just fine.When I spritz a bit of STARTER FLUID on the carb, the bike generally will crank within a few cycles, however, sometimes it takes a bit more effort. The mechanics who worked on it could not figure out the issue. 2) The panel under dashboard was broken and was taken off the bike. We have most of the panel, but am not sure that it can be put back together 100% as the pieces are a bit beat up. Please see pics for what it looks like currently. 4) Cosmetically, it is not perfect. The seat has a tear, and there are plenty of scrapes and bruises that are noticeable, especially up close. But overall, it is in relatively good condition for it's age. Please see all pics. 5) The top speed has been reduced to about 55 from about 75. We do not know why. Other notes: *It has about 32,000 miles on it. *It gets great gas mileage. *It has a horn, the turn signals work, and there is a small trunk space for parts or tools. BONUS: I have a couple of battery chargers that are included. You do not see many of these around anymore.
